Park in the East Quabbin Land Trust parking lot at Mandell Hill and walk through the small white gate. Head southeast on the well walked trail. Keep walking past Opa’s garden (stone bench next to a large birch tree). Then take the left fork. Walk straight until you reach the two blue diamonds. On your left is a majestic tree; head straight to the two boulders just beyond the tree (when you reach the boulders you will see it’s actually three boulders). Have a seat in the “chair” facing the old fire pit. You will find the box down on your left, camouflaged with sticks and leaves.
