Today marks 9 years since Huell passed away. I'm starting another traveling box in his honor.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
This will be a traveling box that will go around only in California. Please take the box with you to a new Huell location.
If you do not want to move the box to a new location, log in and leave it where you found it. The box can be hidden near the locations where Huell visited as long as it's a safe hiding place.

WHERE THE BOX HAS TRAVELED

CLUES by Desert Flower
Desert View Tower
In-Ko-Pah Park Rd
Jacumba Hot Springs, CA 91934

I-8, Exit 77 In-Ko-Pah Park Rd
Drive east, through a squatter’s town, to a pull out on the left, just before the entrance gate.

California’s Gold, Desert Tower, Episode 5007
Huell’s infamous comment during this episode;
“I’m bored, let's move on”
Now it’s your turn to move this along.

Before the entrance gate, on the left, is a tall boulder with a colorful sign, reading “Welcome to the Desert View Tower and Boulder Park”
With that boulder against your right shoulder sight at 225* to the first telephone pole.
Make your way to that pole.
Turn left and look across I-8, so you are facing the large tower.
Now, turn left again and look down, to the left.
At the bush next to you and near the base, the box is under a ‘hand-sized’ granite rock.
The rock is covered with plant debris and the box is buried in the ground under the rock.
