Easy Drive By
Hwy 49 to Nevada City
Take Historic District Exit which is Broad St
Go to the National Hotel at 211 Broad Street. This Hotel is the oldest continously operated hotel West of the Rockies.
Walk up the road to the left of the hotel along the side of the parking lot for the hotel.
When you get to the end of the building walk across the parking lot toward the highway.
Visit the Ladies of the Evening monument between the parking lot next to the chainlink fence.
Just to the right a couple steps under the reddish rock is the box. Mind the rose bush thorns.
