Ingrams's Pond What a great day we had with our little ones on Sat. for the youth fish and release that the De Fish and Game sponsored. The kids got great new rods free just for signing in and largest catches were awarded in each age group About a 100 kids in all a great time.
Make sure you have your Bug Spray for this one.!!!
Near Millsboro ***(at the intersection of Revel & Godwin School Roads---Thanks Poison Ivy) you will find Ingram's Pond. Park and begin by facing the boat ramp. See that nice Cape Cod with the great view? HOw bout we take a closer look? They can probably catch the best fish over there anyway. take the trail to the right . Hike around the pond, several good fishing holes line your path, but they may be occupied, but not the spot we've picked for you. Keep walking on the trail pass one bench on your left, Yes keep going,,, it just looks like you're in the middle of nowhere. HIke until you see the "green roof" follow the trail to the "LOst fishing hole" Oh, so now you see, its not lost after all, once at this spot you'll know exactly where you are. Start at the North end of the bench here and face that green roof. Take the trail to the North. Walk a ways to the fallen tree coming across the path from the left that's hung up above your head. It points to its neighbors the "Twin Pine Towers" Your "Fishy Letterbox" is at the base of these two giants under branches and bark. continue on the trail ahead or back track back the way you came. Enjoy the fish.
