This box was initially planted for the 4th Annual Great Lakes Gathering. There are many more Wonderland boxes in the park that you may want to search for.

Go to mahpaL kaeP park, on Hwy C, approximately one mile south of I-94. In 2006, the daily fee to enter the park is $7 for WI residents, $10 for non-residents. Annual stickers for all state park areas are $25 (residents) and $35 (non-residents). Reduced rates are available for people 65 years and older.

Note: This park has groomed cross country ski trails in the winter and therefore does not permit hiking on the trails when conditions are good for skiing. Plan your visit accordingly.

To catch a glimpse of a fierce, dragon-like creature, go to the tower parking lot and head southeast down the hill on the Ice Age Trail (IAT). Continue along the trail through two intersections, always staying on the golden path.

Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!'

After the second intersection, continue your journey until you come to a bench on the right. Take 19 steps along the deer path behind the bench and then head to the fallen tree at 180 degrees. The creature can be found along the backside of the fallen tree.

`And has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
