Difficulty: Easy
Hand Carved Stamp: Yes
First Finder Certificate: Yes
Artwork for the stamp done by Towanda of Phoenix. Carved by me.
*I have been asked to note that this box is not on national park land.*
Take Speedway Rd. east to the National Parking lot where the road curves to go into Tanque Verde Guest Ranch. Park here. Look north and you will see three large boulders on the right along the road. Go to the three boulders. At the north most boulder, stop and turn west. Across the street you will see a boulder right next to a dead prickly pear. Go up and past the rock. Stop, turn south, take three steps south. At the bottom of the boulder between it and a saguaro on its right your prize will be there beneath a rock and some debris.
As always please be discreet and rehide well. We recommend using a stamp pad for this stamp, rather than markers due to the nature of the carving. Please record your find at LBNA and/or Atlas Quest so we can keep up on the status of our box. Happy hunting!
