Use Mapquest to locate Quail Valley Food Mart at 1 Redbird Drive in Batesville, AR 72501. From there, take 394 East (Gap Road) 5 miles to Lonoke Lane.

The street sign was missing when the box was placed so here is some additional help in finding Lonoke Lane. When you come to Eastman Park (pond / park) on right, the road will curve to the left. Follow the curve. The next road to the left is Lonoke Lane.

The Eastman Nature Center will be the first drive to the right on Lonoke Lane. You should see the building (which is kept locked) from the road. Park behind the nature center building and follow the walk to the covered walkway that says "Nature Trails".

Start down the trail. At the first fork in the trail, stay to the right and continue toward Wildlife Meadows Trail.

You will cross a foot bridge. Keep going past the amphitheater on your left. You will cross a second foot bridge.

At the next fork in the trail, go left down Old Gap Road Trail.

Begin looking for the marker for the White Oak tree.

Directly across the path (behind you when facing marker) is a large red oak tree. Look for three rocks on the left side at the base of the red oak tree.

The "treasure" you seek is under the middle rock.

Please log in and replace carefully making sure to get the bags sealed well.

I recommend tick spray for this trail. There are picnic tables to the right of where you walk through the covered trail head if you pack a lunch.
