This letterbox was placed for our friends Sara and Megan: two of the best friends a ladybug could have!
Begin your adventure on the city sidewalk that runs north/south in front of a church named for a saint that cared for and ministered to poor and neglected boys in the city of Turin.
Go south and cross three avenues. You will pass a bus stop: if the four digits in the bus stop number add up to 23, you are on the right track.
After you cross the third avenue, you will see a path to the left; walk down and into a ravine.
Follow the path east.
Cross (What number is Thomas the Tank Engine’s friend James?) bridges.
Immediately beyond this bridge, there is a retaining wall that runs perpendicular to the path, and there is another retaining wall a few paces further along the path. The letterbox lies behind and flat against the far end of this second wall.
Bring your own inkpad, and be sure to leave the letterbox well hidden when you’re finished.
Above the (What number is Gordon?) bridge, we encountered a squadron of huge brown and blue dragonflies with fantastic copper wings! We hope you are able to see them, too.
May 19, 2008: This letterbox is in place and in good condition.
May 3, 2009: This letterbox is missing.
