This Letterbox is placed at the park which bears a name of one of the Famous 5; her first name in shift cipher is Mpvjtf (a clue to the cipher is "A Step to the Left") and from this park you can see Edmonton Queen against the river green.
If you come from the south side -
cross the foot bridge that leads from the park entrance across the river. When on the other side, you will see in front of you two metal benches and a black metal lamp post between them. You will follow the path (to the left) through the Rose Garden and starting with this first lamp post, count off 6 of them. The lamp posts should be on your right now.
The 6th is the one you are interested in.
If you come from the north side -
start from the Chinese Pagoda. Go in between the two Stone Lions and down the first flight of stairs. Turn left. Follow the trail through the Rose Garden. Count off 15 black lamp posts on you left.
The 15th is the one you want.
If you found the right lamp post, there would be a picnic table a few paces behind it. You can sit there, enjoy the garden and prepare for a final search; the letterbox is over there - at the back of the post, a bit to the right, close to a small rose bush.
It's is a little magnet box under the metal base of the 6th/15th lamp post, in the space between it and the cement pedestal of the post. It's not sitting deep in there, so be careful not to push it too far.
When you are done, please replace it carefully.
Also all the time be aware of "muggles". But in tight situations you can always pretend to smell the roses!
