When in Westwood, check out the Lassen County Visitors Center. Just past Paul Bunyan and Babe the Ox is the entrance to the visitors center. This stop has great information about Westwood and the surrounding area. Start in the parking lot, find the four lights farthest from the road. With the lights directly on your left, take 25 steps forward. You should be standing in front of some large rocks. Now look right. Tucked under the boulder, out of sight, and in between the rocks of three. There is a small pile of rocks that are easy to see. Please re-hide the letterbox well.
Bring your own ink pad.
This letterbox will not be accessible November through April. Or until the snow melts away.
