Five Foot Fairy Forest
Deep in the woods on Washington's trail
lives a magical fairy of interesting scale.
Most of the fairies you’ve heard of are average.
They grow up quite nicely in gardens of cabbage.
But this one, she’s not very average you see.
She grew up abnormal (below the knee.)
See, the name “Five Foot Fairy” is not about size.
But to know any more, you must look with your eyes!
START:
1. Park at Von’s Grocery Store at 1390 N Allen Ave, Pasadena, CA 91104.
2. Walk toward the sunset on Washington way.
Stay on the the right, so you don’t go astray.
3. Not one block but two, then lift up your eyes.
The forest will be of a substandard size.
4. Once in the thicket, don’t hit the low tree!
Treasure's easy to miss, in a forest this wee.
5. ‘Tween sidewalk and path, where forest starts off,
the fairy resides, in a rough wooden trough.
6. Three feet off the ground, (or roughly waist high),
‘tween rock and a tree, the fairy doth lie.
7. Reach in with great caution, cause people might stare.
We don’t want folks knowing our fairy is there!
