Interstate 5 is kinda a bore drive. So the thought is to plant boxes for you to LOOK forward to while traveling on the I-5 (Eye-5).
This box holds an image of the All Seeing Eye in honor of my Masonic husband.

TRAVELING SOUTH ON I-5:
Exit 202 for Gorman. Turn LEFT at exit, drive under highway and at Gorman Post Rd intersection reset your odometer. Turn RIGHT onto Gorman Post Rd. At 3.8 miles is a guardrail on your right. IT'S THE ONLY GUARDRAIL ON THIS ROAD. Carefully park at the turnout before the guardrail.
TRAVELING NORTH ON I-5:
Take the 138 Lancaster/Palmdale highway exit (before Quail Lake Rd exit on I-5). Travel 1.7 miles and look to exit from the LEFT lane to Gorman Post Rd. Follow the road around left at the T in road. Travel 1 mile to a guardrail on your left. IT'S THE ONLY GUARDRAIL ON THIS ROAD. Carefully pull off the road to park.
AT THE GUARDRAIL:
Count 4 wooden posts from the turnout end of the rail.
Hiding between the wood post and metal rail under the top connection is the magnetized box. Carefully retrieve, watching for cars on the road. I pretend to take pictures of the view with my phone in such an obscure place.
