Take which ever route you choose to get to the top of Mt. Wachusett. There are plenty of ways to get to the top. You can hike up, bike up, drive up or you can even take a chair-lift to the top when the ski area is running the lift. Get to the summit were the fire tower overlooks the beautiful scenery. After you done taking in the awesome views, look due north for the US Army Corps of Engineers Radio Relay Tower. Walk to the wall of the relay building and follow the wall. A few step before the large air duct the treasure you seek is hidden in the root of the trees under some rocks. These trees will give you cover while you sign the log book.
