Distance to Letterbox: About 1/2 mile round trip
Located in Kleb Woods Nature Preserve, but starting from the FM 2920 parking area. Great park that has expanded.
Directions:
From Hwy 290 in Hockley, go east on FM 2920 for awhile. After New Kentucky, be looking on right for parking area for Kleb Woods. Turn in and park near bathrooms.
To the Letterbox:
Walk past bathrooms, then straight through pavilion and on to path on far side. Find the trail that goes to the "Nature Center" and take it for 98 steps. You should be next to a huge pine tree on left edge of trail. Continue for 24 more steps to big pine on left edge of trail. Go 20 more steps to tree laying on ground with roots exposed on right. Go right just before roots, off trail, for 17 steps to tall pine tree. Box at back base.
