>From 395 take exit 79A. Follow to light. Take a left onto route 12, then right before light onto 2A. Follow 2A to split onto 117 by big white church. Take 117 and turn left into park.
Clues:
Park, then head back towards the park entrance to the Dog Trail on your left. This was an Eagle Scout Project completed in the summer of 2001 by Anthony Good Jr. Pass the Dog Trail entrance sign and follow the main path.
After 6 paw prints take the path to the left. At the "End of Dog Trail" sign, you will see a big stone wall at the edge of the blue blazed Pequot trail and the road. Max's Dog Walk letterbox is hidden 4 feet to the left of the opening, under a big flat stone in a hole in the wall.
