Mothra Returns to PA!!
Villagers Flee as the Giant Moth Returns from Mansfield, CT to wreak havoc in Berks County, PA. Mothra has come to the Blue Marsh Lake. You can find a good trail system map at:
http://www.nap.usace.army.mil/sb/recreation.htm#trail
or by going to the visitor’s center.
My suggestion is to park at the Justa Road Trailhead and combine this trek with finding ShredMTB’s NW and NE Stamp Collection boxes. You can find Mothra between Mile Markers 8 and 7 by a sign for Catalpa Trees. Catalpas are a Southern series of trees with large bean like seedpods. I do not know if they are edible. At the second large Spooky (in the winter) Catalpa tree, go behind it to find a large rock concealing our big Moth. Mothras like Catalpa trees, leaves and fruit. Beware of poison ivy vines climbing the tree trunk in warmer months.
NOTE: Hunting is permitted in this park during the PA game seasons. Be smart and wear your blaze orange (vest and hat recommended) during the autumn. Hunters will appreciate it, as it reduces potential confusion.
