Little Alien’s Big Brother
This is a box by Thomas, age 10.95.
The Little Alien’s Big Brother has landed at Blue Marsh Lake in Berks County. You can find a good trail system map at:
http://www.nap.usace.army.mil/sb/recreation.htm#trail
or by going to the visitor’s center.
My suggestion is to park at the Justa Road Trailhead and combine this trek with finding ShredMTB’s NW and NE Stamp Collection boxes. From mile marker 6, follow the trail south. The trail will go right (west) and become an old farm road that will horseshoe left. Follow the trail, splitting left at 80° to depart the road and return to the trail. After about ¼ mile, you will come to a point with a very pretty view and perhaps a nice place to sit. There will be a trail splitting off towards the water’s edge (south). Left shoulder to the tree at this point. Sight a triple tree at 90°. Your tree is 6 paces at 120°. A suspicious looking pile of rocks on the east side hides a small alien spacecraft.
NOTE: Hunting is permitted in this park during the PA game seasons. Be smart and wear your blaze orange (vest and hat recommended) during the autumn. Hunters will appreciate it, as it reduces potential confusion.
