One of my families favorite annual traditions is to cross the bridge each summer and travel west on US-2, sampling Pasties at roadside stands. Our favorites have been narrowed down to Suzy's and Lehto's. To find this box, you must first find Lehto's Pasties on US-2, just west of St. Ignace. Once you've purchased a pastie or two, head east for 1/2 a mile to a roadside park and picnic area. Find the Lake Michigan fact sign in the eastern end of the parking area. From this sign, head 21 paces (2 steps = 1 pace) at 280 degrees to a birch tree near the scenic overlook. Your treasure is hidden in the base of the tree. Please rehide well!
