These clues were posted on Peace Day 2005, the 60th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima. There are veterans of many wars, even the Revolutionary War, resting where Peace Day resides.
To get to Woodside Cemetery:
From Route 6, take Exit 8. Head towards Union Street (Yarmouth Port.) Go to the end of the road, there is an intersection with a flashing light and a Getty gas station in front of you. Take a left onto Route 6A. After you pass the Yarmouth Port Post Office on your left, you will see Summer Street on the left at a fork with a flashing light. The Old Yarmouth Inn is immediately before it. Take Summer Street. You will see the Woodside Cemetery shortly on the left. Pull into the wide entrance across from #79 (you can see Dennis Pond from here.) Take a left where the road divides. Take the next right and park at the end. Your search for Peace starts here.
Search the nearest section for the name which is German for “bird.” This might be related to the stamp you’ll find. Facing this grave, turn right and 32 steps should take you to something wooden. Turn ninety degrees to your right and you will be facing two granite posts. The Peace Day Letterbox is under a rock beside the left of these two.
