***MIA as of 4/9/06 - tree cut down!****

This letterbox was planted in honor of a well-known inventor. He was born in 1818. He studied medicine and earned a degree from Ohio Medical College in 1850. Among his 50 patents are the seed sower, bicycle, flushing toilet, tractor and what he is most known for - the machine gun.
Now that you know this man's name you can begin your quest for his box.
Start off by locating his final resting place. There you will find a monument as well as several headstones of his family members. Do you see the small headstone to the right of the monument? That was his cook and nurse. She was given as a wedding gift and immediately freed. She lived out her life with the family. Count the number of letters in her first and last name. Take that amount of paces 145 degrees from the center of the monument. The treasure you seek is on the south side of the tree.
Please take care to reclose the ziploc bag and the box very tightly as the hiding place may contain water. Rehide carefully and watch for Muggles.
