From I-40 take exit #325 and go south on Kerr McGee Road. There is no sign for this road; however, it is the paved road that goes along the west side of the Shell Gas Station. Drive south for 0.3 mile to a gravel cross road -- Road 7385. Turn right (west) on this road. This is historic U. S. Highway 66. Drive 0.3 mile west to four old wood fence posts on the left (south) side of the road and park there (two of the posts have now fallen down!).

From the middle of the fence posts, walk at about 165 degrees (from mag. north) for about 69 steps to a small Juniper Tree. The box is on the south side of this tree under a flat rock covered with some twigs and plant debris. Be alert for snakes.

Please rehide the box well under the rock, twigs and plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.

I will not be able to check on this box very often; so, please let me know if you find it or if it is missing or needs attention:

This box is in my “Historic Route 66 Series”. The other boxes in the series are: “Don’t Forget Winona 66 [AZ]”, “Hackberry 66 [AZ]”, “Historic Route 66 [AZ]”, “Moabi 66 [CA]”, “Moabi 66 - II [CA]”, and “Topock 66 [AZ]”.
