This search takes about 30 minutes round trip. It was made by three children with the help of the parents. We hope you enjoy it.
To get started, from Ann Arbor, drive east on Plymouth Road until you get to N. Dixboro Rd. (a couple of miles east of US 23). Take a left on N. Dixboro Rd. Take your third right onto Dixboro Ln. Continue until you get to the parking lot of the school called Go Like The Wind. If the gate is closed, either open the gate to drive through (making sure you close it behind you), or park in front of it and walk into the parking lot. The clues begin here.
You're at the start. Here's your first clue.
Find patriotic red, white and blue.
Go down 9 steps but please don't fall.
You have to walk along a wall.
Up ahead you will see
an island made of bush and tree.
Around this island there is no tide.
Walk around it to the other side.
Walk past maple #4.
Then take a left on the path and walk some more.
Past the boat of blue the path does swerve.
Go under the arch made of tree trunks that curve.
From light to dark you will go.
Turn left before the hill does grow.
Though the path narrows don't despair,
for, dear friend, you're almost there.
If you happen to tire don't lean on a tree.
Because sometimes on it grows poison ivy.
Come out of the darkness and into the light.
Look for the 2nd red post somewhere on your right.
In a bush that's 10 feet tall,
you'll find our box, rhyme-tyme stamp and all.
Keep going forward, though you're done.
Look! There's your car! Hope you had fun.
