Fantasy Farm Playground at Riverview Park in Newport News is lots of fun! Our grandchildren placed our letterbox in a wooded area nearby. You can find it easily by following the walking path that starts on the right from the parking lot. Follow it all the way around the curve across from B.C. Charles Elementary School. You will see a group of 4 Magnolia trees. Go behind the double trunk tree in the center to the brush on the edge of a small forest. There you will see our small black and clear plastic box!
Update:
Our letterbox was reported missing in August 2006 and we replaced it in the same spot on Sept. 4, 2006 with a clear & blue lid plastic box. We hope our other box will show up this winter when the brush dies back. I guess this is why the site says to watch where we put our boxes as the area may change with the seasons!
