From I-17, take Exit 225 and drive west on Pioneer Rd. In a short distance you will see on the left side of the road a large sign for Pioneer Arizona. It is made of rocks and has an old wagon wheel on top. Park near it on the shoulder of the road.
From the southeast end of the sign, walk at about 150 degrees (from mag. north) for about 39 steps to a small Saguaro Cactus in a shallow drainage course. From that cactus, walk at about 201 degrees for about 26 steps to a large dead Palo Verde Tree with a live Saguaro Cactus on its south side. The box is under the outer edge of the dead tree about 3 feet southeast of the Saguaro Cactus. It is under a flat rock covered with twigs and plant debris. Be alert for snakes.
Please please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box (i.e. the stamp is in a ziploc, the book is in a ziploc, and the two are in the larger ziploc bag), and put all of it INSIDE the box. Please rehide the box well under the rock, twigs and plant debris so that it can not be seen from any direction.
I will not be able to check on this box very often; so, please let me know if you find it, or, if it needs attention or is missing:
