X marks the spot!!
Start at Mixville Park, Cheshire CT. Find the trail that starts behind the bathroom building. Take the bridge over the stream and you will see a tree on a hill directly in front of you with its roots exposed. Go left on the trail and follow it up and around to the right (behind the tree with the exposed roots). You will see a marked White Oak tree on your left. Stay on the path going up the hill until you get to the marked Black Oak (also on your left). Continue about 25 paces on the trail and you will see an 'X' made from fallen trees. Take a look where the branches cross.
