A big storm caused a lot of damage and many of the trees that are reference points no longer exist. So I am taking down “Busy Bee”, ”Strawberry Patch”, “Beautiful Butterfly”, “I Love Girl Scouts” and “Rich and Peace”. The only stamp I was able to recover was “Rich and Peace” and I might move it to another area of the Lake at a later date…..

In the meantime here are the clues to the only one that is still standing, “TINY LITTLE LADYBUG”:

These letterboxes are located at the Anthony Lake. They were placed near a very special area to Girl Scouts in the Anthony area. One of these Girl Scout troops is trying to complete their “High Tech Hide and Seek” badge and just by coming and finding me you will be helping. To this I will say a big “THANK-YOU”. Most of these letterboxes have a store bought stamp but we will be making our own the next set we set out.

To get to us you must take the middle route to the lake which will direct you to the gun club. You will go over a small bridge and once you go over the hill, you will find a “fork” in the road. If you turn to the left you can find an area where you can park.
Tiny Little Ladybug Letterbox

There is a cabin on the East side of the road. This is what is known as the “Scout” Cabin, as it is used by both Girl and Boy Scouts in the Anthony area. This letterbox is small but still has all the right equipment. I am located behind the cabin, look high but not through a window. I may be “tiny”, but I have a magnetic personality. Please put me back when you are done. And Thanks again for helping us earn our badge.

The following letterboxes are Discontinued until further notice

Beautiful Butterfly Letterbox *** NOT AVAILABLE***

First you must find the secret rocky path toward the piers, if you take the wrong path you will not find me. I am located near the 2nd pier where 4 trees become one. Please hide me well when after you find me.

Rich and Peace Letterbox *** NOT AVAILABLE***

I am much easier to find if you found the “Beautiful Butterfly” Please go back to the secret rocky path and head south. About 200 ft to the south there is a lonely tree. You will find me next to this tree under a rock on the 3rd pier. Please hide me well when after you find me.

Busy Bee Letterbox *** NOT AVAILABLE***

Get back on the secret path and follow it back towards the shelter. To your right you will find a trio set of trees that stay the Girl Scouts favorite color all year long. There is Poison Ivy over there so don’t go looking for me in the triplet’s ground coverings. If you look around the triplets there will be an unusual finding. If you know what burning rubber means then I will be easier to find. I am the only one “around” this tree. Look inside an you can see me. Please hide me well when after you find me.

I Love Girl Scouts Letterbox *** NOT AVAILABLE***

Get back on the secret path and follow closer to the shelter. To your left you might think you are seeing double. Just like the buddy system that we use at this camping area, this set of twins are also the kind that stay the Girl Scouts favorite color all year long. If you look down near the base of one of us you will locate me.. Please hide me well when after you find me. This is my first attempt on a handmade stamp.

Strawberry Patch Letterbox *** NOT AVAILABLE***

If you set on your way to the south, you will come across something that might “smell”. You must find the lamppost that is on the northeast corner of the “smelly” area. From the lamppost face east and take about 30 paces. Remember to only count your right foot when you count your paces. You should be at a set of tree rows, if you took a straight path, I am near the tree that is the farthest south in the east row. Once your find me, please hide me well when after you find me.
