Head out Kane Creek Boulevard for 2.3 miles past the intersection of Kane Creek and 500 West. On your left will be a parking area for Moonflower Canyon. Check out the petroglyphs and crack climb then walk up the canyon past the eight walk-in camping sites. Stay on the left side of the drainage until just past campsite 8. After crossing the creek walk 55-60 paces to the last really large cottonwood tree in the canyon. Scramble up the slope at 120 degrees from the tree staying to the left of the large rock that the cottonwood's branch points to. About 50 scrambling steps will take you to a small tree in the center top of the draw. To the left you can scramble a bit further. Do so and then look in a crack between the back rock wall and the redder rock to the front. The box is wedged in the crack behind some rocks.
It's probably best to send the most agile member of the party up to retrieve the box and bring it down for stamping. Take care scrambling up and down & please rehide the box carefully.
Be sure to continue on out Kane Creek for some really GREAT boxes.
