The 'Fullerton Loop - Kananaskis' Letterbox is a very easy find for those Letterboxers in the McLean Creek/Allen Bill Pond area of Kananaskis Country, just west of Calgary and SW of Bragg Creek.
Bragg Creek is a small town on Highway 22 west of Calgary about 5 km from Kananaskis Country, the playground of many Albertans.
Highway 22 runs N/S from the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy #1) west of Calgary. South of the Trans Canada Highway on Highway 22 is Bragg Creek.
Heading south on Highway 22, bear slightly left at Bragg Creek staying on Highway 22.
Just south of Bragg Creek, you will be at a T intersection with Hwy 22 going east and Highway 66 going west.
(If you are coming from the south, Hwy 22 starts at Hwy 3 and is a very picturesque drive. When you are heading west on Hwy 22 and you see the signs for Bragg Creek north and Hwy 66 west, simply go straight onto Hwy 66).
Take Hwy 66 west into Kananaskis Country and at 9.8 km from the turn-off from Hwy 22 (start of Hwy 66), turn left into the 'Allen Bill Pond' parking area.
The Fullerton Loop hike is a 6.8 km hike and starts from this parking area.

Go to the east end of the Allen Bill parking area where there is a large interpretive sign. The access trail to the Fullerton Loop hike starts here.
