Directions:
From Skaneateles or Homer, take Routh 41A to New Hope. If following the South Skaneateles series, continue on Glen Haven Road, heading north, until you reach the Mill, just before Route 41A.
From the sign on the road, drive down to the mill. Park here. Walk across the covered bridge, and follow the path to the left. Walk to the last green post on your left. Take 8 steps. On your left, across the water, will be the mill water wheel. On your right, you will see a cut out shale ledge. Look in the back corner of the cutout, wedged under some shale, for your piece of the mill. Make sure to rehide well, so the stones don’t come loose. Be sure to take some pictures of the mill from this side. Stop in the store before leaving and step back in time.
While in the area, be sure to visit "Carpenters Falls" and "13th President- Millard Fillmore".
