Bicentennial Park in Kensington.
Planted by Hez and Mona
Carver-Hez

Mona finally got out to the park to get her box planted.

Take route 71/Chamberlin Highway in Kensington to Norton Road. From Norton Road take your first right onto Winesap and follow it all the way to the end and park. Please be mindful of not blocking the fire hydrant.

Mona and some friends went to the Bicentennial Park in Kensington and left a few packages for folks to find. They even had time to stop by a friend’s house and have a picnic lunch.

To find Mona’s box just follow the directions below:

Enter through the opening into an open field, walk through the field and then you will pass through another opening into another open area. Stay to the right and when you spot an unmarked trail guarded by a large maple tree with an outstretched arm take that trail. In a very short time you will see a large rock on the right side of the trail. From that rock look due North to a large wolf Hickory tree with a broken limb. Look to the backside of that tree for Mona’s letterbox. To return to your car, just backtrack or you can look at the fistfull of clues you have in your hand and perhaps grab a couple more boxes before leaving.

Make sure you bring clues for the other boxes in the park.
