HALLOWEEN JACK 4
REPLACED 21JUN11
original box 21OCT07
New hand carved stamp

Burke Heritage Park
Alhambra Rd and Bushnell

Mayor Talmage Burke was California's longest publicly elected official serving
more than 50 years for the City of Alhambra. RIP.

DEAR PARENTS IMPORTANT NOTE:
Make sure you replace it where you found it,
behind the tree trunk and covered with leaves.
The gardeners clean up everything in sight.
Children usually just throw it back and don't bother
covering boxes. PLEASE DO NOT LET THEM REPLACE IT.

This is an easy letter box to find.
Next to the museum look for the steel white fence.
From the left side of the grassy area start walking
along the white fence.
There are two trees right next to the white fence,
the 2nd tree with the multi limbs is where the
box is hidden.
Reach behind this tree on the left side 4 feet high.
Reach under and pull up the dry leaves.
The 4x6 inch box is just under the dry plants.
Be aware of peering eyes next door.

NOTE: Since this is a small park, it might be difficult
to get near the box without looking suspicious. Bring
a ball, blanket or pet to make a good excuse to get
near the box when muggles are nearby.

If you are around here during Halloween go one block east on Alhambra Rd to 911 North Electric. Here you will find a fine example of a decorated house.
