This box is in Embudo Canyon. To get there from I-40 take Tramway Blvd. north or from I-25 take Tramway Road east and then Tramway Blvd. south. At Indian School Road go east and follow Indian School to where it ends in a parking lot. Make sure you go all the way to the end. The lot closes at 9:00 p.m.
There is no ink in this box.
From the map board look carefully to your left and you will see a covered picnic table in the distance. Make your way to the picnic table, when you get to it, keep it to your left and pass it. Continue on the trail until you come to a yellow painted rock. At the yellow rock, continue to the fence post with the barbed wire in it. At the post take a reading of ~310 degrees. Go uphill to the backside of the three large rocks that are grouped together and look under the small pile of rocks for the lost dog.
I won't be able to check this box, so I'm hoping I can rely on the kindness of New Mexico letterboxers to help keep this box safe and sound.
If these clues need some revision, please let me know.
I had a great time visting and hope to someday be able to come back.
