This letterbox is located at Hubbard Park in Meriden.
You will start by coming into the park entrance from the main road. You can park anywhere along the pond, but the area that the trail starts is just past the little duck house. Across from the pond on your left, you will see a wooden bridge. You will cross over that where you will see some brick fireplaces. You will come to an orange blazed trail. Walk up this trail for a while until you come to somewhat of a small clearing. At this clearing, you will continue on going straight. You will come to a fork in the trail with an orange blazed tree in the center. Stay to the left of this trail. If you go to the right you will cross over a black pipe. That is the wrong way. After taking that left the trail will become narrow. Continue walking on that trail. It will then open back up to a wider trail. You will then come to 2 fallen trees that are in the path and a short stump that will be on your right. From that stump, take 20 adult paces on the trail. From that point look to your right into the woods. You will notice a tall 2 sister evergreen tree. Walk towards the tree. What you seek will be hidden at the base of the tree.
This is my first plant so let me know what you think!!
