This box is placed in honor of Adam's graduation with a professional pilot degree.
When Adam was a young boy playing football here at Heritage Park, he often let his gaze wander to the skies above. Airplanes taking off from OJC, the Johnson County Executive Airport, captivated his attention, somewhat to the dismay of his football team. Adam quickly learned that football was not for him.
Flying, however, was a passion, and Adam graduated with an airway science degree, professional pilot option. As you're looking for this box, watch to the east for the planes taking off and landing.
This box is located at Heritage Park, in Olathe, KS.

Start at shelter five.
Look due east across the grassy area, past the trails, and into the woods. There is a grassy path heading into the woods. Take the trail and walk over to the grassy path and head in. Take the immediate left fork and walk about 15-20 footfalls into a little clearing. In front of you will be a large log. Our box is hidden in the hollow base, covered with bark.
Please check for poison ivy and oak, as well as the usual precautions of using something to check out dark areas before sticking your hands in them.
