This is one of the MOST PHOTOGRAPHED & painted locations for Mount Chocorua. As you are heading North from Chocorua Village on Route 16 at the end of the 3-lane, at the top of a steep hill, you will notice a grey & burgandy barn on the left side. Park in the small area on the left. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OR ALONG SIDE OF THE ROAD UNLESS YOU WANT A SPEEDY VISIT FROM THE LOCAL RESCUE DEPARTMENT, FIRE DEPARTMENT & POLICE DEPARTMENT. This is a very highly travelled road ~ stressing the words "very highly travelled". From where the stone wall makes an "L", walk @26 adult paces North along the wall. You will see a cluster of Maple trees. Hidden among the cluster, covered by leaves, twigs & rocks, you will find what you are searching for.
