Tic Tac Toe Game
Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation
Hemlock Creek Picnic Area
Button Rd. off Dunham Rd. If you take Tinkers Creek Rd., continue straight across Dunham onto Button Rd.
Bring bug spray, letterbox equipment, ink.
Time: 30 minutes
Difficulty: Easy
Clues:
From the parking lot, start at the gravel path in the Northeast corner of the field. It is to the left behind the baseball diamond.
Follow the path until it curves to the right toward the river. Continue following the river downstream.
You will pass a small 2 foot waterfall that extends across the entire stream. There is a bench if want to take a break.
After the bench there is a split in the path. Stay to the right.
The path has 2 gentle curves. The third curve is a little sharper ( to the right).
Look for a tree on the right with missing bark and trace amounts of blue paint.
If you stand with your back to this tree and look across the path you will see a 3 trunked tree with a rock at the base. Watch for poison ivy. The box is nestled in the tree.
To get back, just continue following the path. You will end up near the pavilion and parking lot.
