There is a state park in Arkansas that was named after a young French woman who disguised herself as a man in order to accompany him to the New World. Find this park, then begin your search.
Stop at the Visitor's Center and get a map. Make your way to the Bear Cave Trail. At the trail head, go down the steps and at the STOP sign, turn left. Follow the pink blazes. You will soon come to a double trunk tree with a blaze on one trunk on your right. Pass this tree, and begin looking fora defined social trail on your left. Take the social trail for 37 steps. Look to your left and you should see two stumps about 6-8 feet apart, that are several steps off the trail. The Back Pack is behind the stump on the right.
