To get there:
From Princeton, IL travel west, through Wyanet and not to far you will see an entrance for lock 21. That's the starting place.
From Sheffield, IL go east and before you get to Wyanet, you will pass over the canal, enter at Lock 21. Look for the bridge.
So I have heard that Lock 21 is know for their morels, and people come here to get a few to eat, so I decided to make a letterbox! While you are here and if you like morels, try and find some to bring home and eat! But dont for get about the box, so here we go:
Once you are in and can see the bridge, go over and park by the tree, the road is now on your other side. Come and stand in the middle of the middle of the arch, a "waterfall" on the left and a walking path on your right. Go right, by the ladder on the arch, opposite side of the ladder, no between the straight side of the bridge and the arch tower, look down, in between then, under the metal slab is your morel. It is in a magnetic hide a key box.
Please be discrete because some no boxers might be hunting these Morels too!
