At York River State Park, if you're coming from the Visitor's Center, take the Woodstock Pond Trail.
If you've already stamped into the Pupa letterbox that is on the Mattaponi Trail, continue on the Mattaponi until it intersects with the Woodstock Pond Trail.
At the intersection of Woodstock Pond and Mattaponi, there are three or four brown trail signs. Put your back on the sign nearest the blue trail marker.
Then go 94 steps down the Woodstock Pond Trail to the huge uprooted tree on the right.
You will see a tall pine tree behind the uprooted tree (not the pine by the trail). (You may have to take eight more steps past the uprooted tree to see the pine.)
The box is hidden behind the pine under pieces of pine bark and branches. Please recover well.
If you reach the exercise stations on the Woodstock Pond Trail, you've gone too far.
