Secret 'Stashe #5 - The Professor LbNA #47517 (ARCHIVED)

This is the second of what was seven stashes (or is it 'staches?) hidden in uptown Waterloo. Unfortunately, a few of the boxes have gone missing, so there's only 4 left. The boxes are placed such that you could do all of them in an afternoon, if you park at Uptown Waterloo Square and walk or bike to each location. For this particular clue, there is also parking available on the street near the address that is your starting point. These boxes are hidden in somewhat visible areas, so please use great stealth in retrieving and replacing them. Have fun!

Begin at 119 Roger Street. Stand in front of and facing the “die”, then look to your 5 o'clock for the blue/yellow “4”. Cross the street toward this 4 and follow the street in that direction. Keep walking for a couple minutes, over the tracks and through an intersection. Not sure if you're going in the right direction? Look off to your right for the number 122 and a cross made out of shingles on the roof.

Pass the 1931 on your right, but keep looking in that direction for a hill. There is a sort of pathway bordered by trees that goes up this hill. Follow this path up and past the encircled tree on your right. Straight ahead, the path becomes concrete and takes you past a diamond on your right and several primary colours on your left. Keep going as the path veers to the left.

When you get to the fence, look to the right for a creepy old tree stump where parts of the former tree are stuck into the fence itself. Don't see it? Look carefully at the green leafy bushes along the fence. Inside the stump, under some sticks and stones, is the letterbox.
