This box is at Ken’s Lake off the La Sal Loop Rd. The walk is about .1 mi. to the box.
DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy. 191 a few miles south of Moab and turn east at the turn off for Ken’s Lake and La Sal Loop Rd. Turn left at the turn off for Ken’s Lake. Follow the road to the Day Use Area, down to the beach and stay to the right, on past the restrooms. At the last restroom, park at the far end of the lot.
CLUES: From the far end of the parking lot there is a rock-lined trail. Follow it around the wash. The trail dips down, and on the way back up there is a tree on the left with a white boulder in front of it. After this tree, is a faint trail to the left. Take this trail to the large Juniper tree. Go around this tree toward the lake, and there is a “clearing” to the base of the tree, where the tree slopes uphill. Go to the base from there, and reach in behind the branch on the right, and the box is under the rock and debris.
Please be discreet. You can be seen from many angles of the area. Please rehide the box well.
