Spiney the porcupine was in his house one summer evening, when he heard something. It wasn't long before he realized that it was his stomach. He was hungry! So he set off on a search to find something to eat. He found himself at Mary S. Young State Park and thought that it might be a good place to look. Next to the parking lot he pondered the trail sign, then decided to take a right at the drinking fountain. He followed the trail to the restrooms, taking the one going right next to the building. At the junction of the next trail, he took a left, passing a bench and several picnic tables. At the last picnic table he decided to take a rest. Looking around, he saw a big tree to the southeast, and checking it out found a lot of nice bugs to eat. When he was done with his meal, he found that it was too dark to find his way back home. He decided to stay there for the night. And he is still there to this day! (Story by Lissibug)
