Directions: The Spruce Hill Trail starts behind the Brewster Historical Museum, 3341 Route 6A in Brewster, MA. If coming from the west, it is just past Cape Cod Sea Camp Wono, and from the east, it 0.6 miles past the entrance to Nickerson State Park. You may park without a fee behind the museum to use the trail. It is a 25 acre property known as The Spruce Hill Conservation Area which is maintained by the Brewster Conservation Commission.

Take a nice leisurely stroll down the path from the trail head to its end at Cape Cod Bay. From here, you will have a nice view of Provincetown to the right. To your left is the beach which is the property of the Cape Cod Sea Camp.

After enjoying the view (and perhaps a stroll on the beach?), begin your return trip. After going 30 paces past the end of the boardwalk, take a path to the left guarded by 2 red cedars. Ahead is a large, gnarled oak with a low-hanging horizontal branch. Look behind the oak, nestled between the oak and a cedar, under some sticks and leaves for your prize. Please rehide carefully.

Note: This box got a brand new logbook and stamp pad on 4/7/2007. Sometime during the warmer weather of spring or summer we will "fix" the stamp by attaching it to a board so that it won't be in two pieces. It is still useable, but please be careful!
