Walking distance: 0.5 mile loop trip
Trail difficulty: easy, a flat paved path

The answers to the questions in the clues for this webbox are located in Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument in central New Mexico. Letterboxes are not allowed to be physically placed in national parks and national monuments administered by the U. S. National Park Service. So, I have created this webbox. You must actually visit the area of the clues; however, you need to go to the Web to obtain your finders stamp and sign the log book.

Drive to the Abo Ruins Unit of Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument which is just off of U. S. Highway 60 about 9 miles west of Mountainair. Park by the visitor center.

Walk on the Ruins Trail which starts just to the left (north) of the front of the visitor center. After crossing the road you will see a large colorful interpretive sign titled “Crossroads”. In the first paragraph on the left, in the third line, what is the first word ______?

Continue walking on the paved path and look for an interpretive sign titled “Leaving Abo”. In the first paragraph on the left, in the third line, what is the first word ______?

To create the mystery word, put the word from the second question on the end of the word from the first question (without spaces). Paste the mystery word into this URL (replacing the question marks “???” with the mystery word):

http://nostalgia.esmartkid.com/???.html

Now, plug/paste/type the new URL into your web browser and you will have completed your search for the Salinas Pueblo Missions Monument Webbox.

Please record your find at www.letterboxing.org/ .
