Timothy has successfully battled through eighth grade and has now graduated to high school. To celebrate his victory, he designed this series of five boxes, based on the popular video game, HALO 3, where epic battles are fought on artificial worlds shaped like rings. The series highlights five local high schools, each of which has a running track.
NO BOXES HAVE BEEN HIDDEN ON SCHOOL PROPERTY.
CLUES:
Derby High School, the home of the "Red Raiders" will hopefully be Timothy's home for the next four years. It is located on the stretch of Division Street in Derby, opposite Osbornebale State Park. The track is located in the Leo F. Ryan Sports Complex.
Park in the public parking for Osbornedale. Take the path to the left which circles the pond. You will cross a grassy meadow, then a small patch of higher weeds. Continue past the "Trail" post marker into the woods. You will quickly come upon a flat oval boulder on the path to the right. It is split across the middle. Stop and look to the ledge on your left. See the stand of large oak trees? They look like elephant legs. Look for the one that is swallowing some flat stones. The HALO 3- beta BOX is hidden at its base under more flat rocks and bark.
