Difficulty: clues easy; walk easy (1/4 mi. RT)
Stamp hand-carved
This box is placed to honor Azroadie’s Irish heritage (Bell family) and his St. Patrick’s Day birthday.
Michael Perry Park, 8800 E Arbor St, Tucson, AZ 85730
Located at the corner of Golfs Links Rd and Pantano Parkway. Heading East on Golf Links Rd cross the Pantano River and turn South at light to Arbor St (West of Circle K). Park in the area closest to the playground.
Behind the red metal gate, near the east end of the parking lot, start walking south on pavement which quickly becomes a gravel walking path.
This will take you near the restrooms and ballfields, and keep you up above the paved trail.
Continue on the gravel path straight ahead. To your right you see a ramp that descends to the paved Pantano Wash path, stay up and look,
Straight ahead to a flat dirt area, parallel to the paved trail, but still above it.
Look ahead for an unsigned metal post, from that post continue 75 steps along the dirt area.
Look left behind a group of creosote bushes for a plump barrel cactus, hugging the low, green cable fence line.
To the right under a cresote is the box.
Please be sure the contents are double ziplocked when you put them back in the box and put all of it inside the box. Please put the lid on tight. Please rehide the box well under the rocks and covered so that it cannot be seen from any direction.
