Terrain Difficulty: Easy (slight slope, 3.5 km RT)
Status: alive
The Lake Minnewanka Loop is one of the best places to see bighorn sheep, and where you can find this letterbox dedicated to them.
Directions:
From Tran-Canada Hwy 1 go north on Minnewanka Loop to Lake Minnewanka and park.
Clues:
Walk along the lake as it bends north to the Stewart Canyon Trail and follow it to a bridge over Stewart Canyon. Before the bridge, walk up on ridge of rocks on left and go 16 steps from point even with bridge to a pine tree on left next to boulders. Microbox is at its base under rocks. Please replace as described and be discreet.
