The Heisman Trophy is awarded annually to the player deemed the most outstanding player in collegiate football and in 2012 the winner was Johnny Manziel, the quarterback for Texas A&M. He is the first freshman ever to win the award and only the second winner from Texas A&M. He was given the nickname Heismanziel and this letterbox is dedicated to his accomplishment.
Directions:
From Hwy 6 go west on Raymond Stotzer Pkwy to just before Harvey Mitchell Pkwy. Turn left into Research Park then take first right onto Technology Loop and park on road after crossing bridge.
Clues:
Go left across road and down to cement path. Go right to T jct, left across bridge, then left at next T jct for 100 steps to raised cement barrier on right. Go right 8 steps to a double-trunk tree and letterbox is at back base under sticks and leaves.
