The Wizard of the Waves
Planted January 19, 2003 Revised with new stamp and clue May 9, 2015
Location: Marconi Station Site, South Wellfleet, MA
Difficulty: Easy
Planted by Deanne Bellefeuille-Besnia, the lazy letterboxer and David Besnia, WR1T
Take Route 6 to South Wellfleet and turn at the sign indicating the Marconi Station Site and Marconi Beach. Follow the signs to the Station Site. Park in the lot and look for the sign indicating the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp Trail. Enter the trail and instead of going left toward the swamp trail stay on the right and walk along Old Wireless Road. You will pass a bench on the right side of the trail. The newly revised Mr. Marconi's Wonderful Wireless box is planted nearby.
Continue on the trail until you come to a 4 way intersection. Just before that look left into the woods for a thin forked tree with several openings in it. The Wizard of the Waves rests therein. There is no logbook.
