This is NOT a geocache so please do not take the stamps and leave no trinkets.
Bring your own ink.
Along the Bosque Trail, I've seen cranes, eagles, roadrunners, geese, llamas, a camel, a coyote pack, snakes and other creatures. This letterbox is at the backdoor of another marvelous creature.
Directions: From the interchange of I-25 and I-40 drive west on I-40 towards Grants. Exit at the Rio Grande Boulevard exit and head south. Get in the right lane and make a right turn at Central Avenue. Get in the left lane and at the stop light take a left on Tingley Drive. Drive past Alcalde Street on the left and when there's a dirt area between the street and the bike trail on the right pull in and park near the guard rail. Look across the street beyond the ditch and you'll see a big yard that holds the marvelous creatures which are let out about mid-day.
Clue: As you look at them, behind your back, behind the bark, stuffed behind the second stumpy wooden tusk from the north in the trail minus tea.
Please do not let passerbys see you make the snag. Please rehide in exactly the same place and use the bark to cover the treasure.
Happy hunting.
